A whetstone holder should always be kept close at hand when scythe mowing. It is simply worn on the belt or waistband and filled with a little water. This whetstone holder is made of plastic and comes with a metal belt hook. Thanks to its yellow color, it is easy to find at any time.
With this scythe peening jig, you can work on the primary bevel (the 'dengel'), which is the approximately 5 mm wide area directly along the scythe's cutting edge.
