This scythe model was found in the depths of an old scythe warehouse. Outstanding is the specially shaped back. The scythe is very sturdy, making it suitable for tall, thick grass and also for cutting grain. The association has had this special scythe model manufactured again.

This rake is particularly well-suited for freshly cut grass. The shape of the tines supports effortless, smooth working.

Perfectly matched to our forks and available in two lengths depending on body height. Crafted in the Upper Austrian Steyr Valley.

Heavy-duty scythe model with a flat tip for clearing forest cultures, bushes, and paths. The scythe is extremely sturdy and particularly designed for mowing tasks involving tall, hard grass, small bushes, and young trees up to a maximum diameter of 0.5 cm. The scythe blade is triple-peened. An adjustment and assembly manual is included in the scope of delivery.

This wooden rake is specially designed for children, allowing our little helpers to pitch in effectively on the meadow. Three types of wood (linden, beech, ash), hidden details, and solid craftsmanship set this rake apart. The rake is shipped disassembled, and two replacement tines are included in the scope of delivery. The handle has a length of approx. 160 cm.

The strongly curved shape of the 40 cm clearing scythe makes mowing in confined spaces easier. The scythe resembles a post horn, hence the name. It is particularly stable, allowing thin trees and bushes to be mown with it. A draw-knife can optionally be mounted on the sneath (snath), allowing heavier woody growth to be cut down. Its primary use is in clearing and mowing young trees in forest cultures, hence its secondary name: forest scythe with billhook. The scythe blade is triple-peened.

Coarse abrasive rubber 20 x 50 x 80 mm Ideal tool for removing varnish from the cutting edge before first use. The rubber-bonded abrasive grains also clean the cutting edge perfectly before subsequent peening. Due to the matte metal surface left after sanding, hammer strikes during peening are clearly visible.

This hard steel scythe (Mayer model) is a pure competition scythe. The scythe edge is 3-fold peened. The 90 cm scythe fits the curved wooden sneath from our range, while the 130 cm scythe requires a special sneath.

A whetstone holder should always be kept close at hand when scythe mowing. It is simply worn on the belt or waistband and filled with a little water. This whetstone holder with a belt hook is made entirely of copper, making it 100% waterproof and weather-resistant.

The curved wooden sneath (also called snath, snead, scythe handle, or scythe tree) is available in five sizes. It is made of high-quality ash wood and ergonomically shaped. Even after extended mowing, the wooden sneath sits comfortably in the hand. The matching wooden sneath is chosen according to body height. The handles of the scythe sneath can be adjusted to individual needs via the pre-drilled holes. Every scythe from our assortment fits this wooden sneath, with the exception of the 130 cm competition scythe. Included in the scope of delivery are a scythe ring, wrench, wooden wedge, as well as a detailed assembly and adjustment manual. ATTENTION: The latest model is designed with an advanced scythe ring without a plastic damper. The draw-knife serves as an addition for meadow, weed, and clearing scythes as well as the "Posthorn" clearing scythe to be able to cut heavier woody growth as well. Assembly instructions: The draw-knife is mounted between the sneath and the scythe (see picture).

Finest Austrian forge work. This fork features three tines, and the handle connection is made via a strapped socket (feather socket). A handle is not included in the scope of delivery.

The hard steel scythe is an all-around scythe and represents a lightweight alternative to the red meadow, weed, and culture scythe. The advantage of this scythe is that it stays sharp longer due to the hard steel. A disadvantage is that it is harder to peen. However, this can be avoided by carefully (!) grinding the scythe with a flap disc.

Linden is the ultimate wood for rake handles. Virtually splinter-free and with a slightly oily feel, it glides through your hand almost by itself.
